Virgin Atlantic has come up with a new plan to encourage passengers to check-in online.

If you are travelling between August 1st and September 30th from London Heathrow, London Gatwick or Manchester and you check-in online, then you will be given the chance to print off a discount voucher.

The voucher makes an offer of £6 off every £30 you spend on Virgin Atlantic’s in-flight products. You can also receive discounts and vouchers to use in the duty free stores in Gatwick’s South Terminal and Heathrow’s Terminal 3.

Checking-in online makes the rest of your airport visit much quicker as you will turn up to the airport, put your luggage at the ‘Bag Drop’ desk and then head straight through security.

Virgin is aiming for 80% of its passengers to use online check-in or kiosk check-in by the end of 2008.
