Virgin Atlantic opens new terminal December 19th 2007 by Kirstie

Virgin Atlantic opened its new terminal yesterday which is located in Heathrow’s Terminal 3.

The new terminal is said to make the whole check-in process a lot faster and easier.

There is an Upper Class Wing which is a business passenger facility which is said to give the fastest check-in process in the world.

Premium Economy and Economy passengers also have a new check-in. By the end of 2008, Virgin Atlantic have already estimated that around 80% of its passengers will use online or kiosk check-in.

Passengers will not benefit from shorter distances between check-in and security.
