British Airways is under fire today as surfers sign petitions against them. Just over a week ago, British Airways annouced that they would no longer be allowing passengers to bring their surfborads with them onboard the aircraft.
It was stated that surfers would have to arrange other means of travel from a third party if they were insistent on having their surf boards with them on holiday.
Today, the worlds number one surfer, Mick Fanning, signed the petition which asks British Airways to reverse this new policy. British Airways recently re-opened their London Gatwick to Newquay route but with this new rule taking affect, it is unlikely that they will get much business.
