BAAThe strikes that were planned to occur in January across seven UK airports have been called off after talks between airport owner’s BAA and the Unite Union.

The announcement came after BAA agreed to amend plans to alter the pension rights to new employees.

Unite Union accepted the new terms and called off the strikes. The negotiations have helped over 1.3 million people who would have been affected by the future strikes.

Virgin Cabin Crew are however still planning their two 48-hour walkouts planned for January 9th and January 16th.
