Although the one-bag hand luggage rule could soon be lifted, passengers are being reminded that at the moment, the regulations are still in place.

It has also been said that wrapped Christmas presents should not be carried in hand-luggage.

If passengers decide that they want to carry fragile gifts in their hand luggage then they have to be unwrapped and go through a security inspection. There can also be no Christmas crackers in hand luggage or checked-in luggage.
