British Airways today announced that they will be adding more short-haul flights to depart from London Gatwick. The new flights added include Gatwick to Poznan, Poland and Gatwick to Antalya, Turkey. The new flights will start until 2008, with daily flights to Poznan and 3 flights a week to Antalya.
British Airways are introducing the new routes due to the growing demand for business and leisure travel to Poland. All destinations in Poland will be reached from London Gatwick once the Warsaw flights have finished at London Heathrow in the summer.
British Airways also believe that Antalya is becoming more popular with tourists, which is why it is increasing flights there. The announcement today links to other flights that will be flying from London Gatwick, as British Airways have already announced that all flights to Genoa will be starting in 2008.
