One in four shoppers now choose to book flights online rather than over the phone or in store.

Travel and Tourism is well suited to the internet as there are so many different sites for you to choose from. There is a wider range of prices as well as a wide range of reviews to choose from so you can see what other people think before you buy.

The internet, believe it or not, has also helped travel agents. It may have lost them custom in the stores, however many of them now have their own websites as well, so they are still getting custom just in another way.
