Flybe is a low cost operator, however it is being forced to end four of its Norwich International flights as the levy applied on passengers is making their flights too expensive.
The £3 Airport Development Fee is to blame for this. The fee was introduced in April in order to raise £5million that could be invested on facilities but it has made flights too expensive. The company are having to end three flights to Spain and one to Exeter.
Demand for the flights had fallen by 15%, which proves that people are unwilling to pay so much for flights.
