EasyJet have officially completed their takeover of GB Airways meaning that they will now begin their first flights out of Manchester and the number of services from Gatwick will increase.

EasyJet paid the Bland group £103.5 million for the airline. The deal will benefit customers as they will now have more options and more frequent flights in and out of Gatwick.

The 32 routes that were done by GB Airways are now being offered by easyJet. EasyJet will not be able to offer routes to Malta, Corfu and Tenerife.
