EasyJet has launched a number of new routes from London Gatwick airport and Manchester airport.

New routes introduced include a Manchester to Malaga route and a Manchester to Crete which will begin today.

There will also be Gatwick services to Monpellier in France and twice-weekly connections to Mykonos.

From May 4th, Sunday flights will be operating to Ajaccio and Bastia in Corsica.

There has been a huge amount of increase in the number of flights wanted to summer sun destinations which is why easJet have introduced the new routes.

EasyJet has said that it hopes to carry 123,000 passengers on the new Manchester routes in the next 12 months.
