The Foreign Office has condemned the bomb attacks in Karachi on 5 February 2010.

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office issued the following statement on the attacks in Karachi, 5 February 2010:

“We condemn today’s deadly bomb attacks in Karachi, and express our sympathies and condolences to the victims and their families. Today’s appalling events in Karachi, which follow the fatal attacks there little over a month ago, underline the need for Pakistan to maintain its strong stance against  terrorism. The UK will continue to support Pakistan in tackling this threat.”
