British Airways has announced that it plans to give its customers refunds or offer them the chance to rebook and fly another time if they were due to fly anytime between now and Friday 11th January.

If customers decide to rebook, then they can have another flight to Nairobi up to 2 weeks after the restrictions are lifted, or they can fly to an alternative destination, however any increase in price must be paid by the customer.

To rebook, customers are being advised to ring the travel agents that they booked through or British Airways directly.

Luckily, there have been no tourists caught up in the violence that has been going on in Kenya. 6,000 Britain’s are currently holidaying in Kenya and it is hoped that they will still be able to return on their scheduled flights.
