All of the airlines that have services in and out of Heathrow and are part of the oneworld alliance have confirmed the dates that they will be changing terminals.
The moves will happen gradually over the next 12 months to Terminal 3 and Terminal 5.
BA will move all long-haul departures to Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, Tokyo, San Francisco and Vancouver to Terminal 5 on March 27th. All domestic flights and short-haul flights from Terminal 1 except the ones travelling to Barcelona, Helsinki, Lisbon, Madrid and Nice will be moved to Terminal 5 as well.
BA’s short-haul flights and Miami flights will move from Terminal 4 to 5 as well.
American Airlines will change its Raleigh/Durham flights and one of the two daily flights to Dallas to Terminal 3 from London Gatwick on March 29th.
BA will do the same on March 30th except the flights will be relocated to Terminal 5. On April 30th a further 20% of long-haul flights will be moved to Terminal 5.
Further changes are going to commence on September 17th concerning BA, Finnair and Iberia Flights. Their flights will be put into Terminal 3 followed by more flights from BA and Qantas to be moved in 2009.
Other airlines in the oneworld alliance include Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines and Royal Jordanian.
