Although Aer Lingus is dropping its flights from Dublin to Dubai, all is not lost. Today the company announced two new routes that they will introduce next summer. These are Dublin to Ibiza and Cork to Jersey.

Three new aircraft will be joining the fleet in 2008 for the short-haul flights. The airline is also looking into introducing flights from Belfast to Nice.

Flights from Dublin will be operated all year round from now on. The change comes as more and more people are wanting to travel from there. The company are also going to increase the frequency of flights from Dublin to San Francisco, Orlando and Washington.
