Playa Del Ingles - Located On The South Coast Of Gran Canaria

Playa del Ingles is the largest resort in Gran Canaria and is mainly used by tourists. The resort appeals to many young groups of 18-30\'s and young couples who are looking for a lively holiday where they can relax all day and stay up all night. The beach in Playa del Ingles is full of fine, golden sand and calm, clear waters. There are many loungers and parasols for you to use, but get there early if you want a good spot. There are a few hotels in Playa del Ingles, however the resort is actually full of apartments and villas. The villas and apartments are mainly 2-3-star and offer a self-catering board basis. All of the accommodation has a good number of facilities and all have pools.



Playa Del Ingles - Plenty To Keep You Occupied Both Night And Day

The resort is very popular with people who enjoy water sports and you can try windsurfing, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, snorkelling and riding on a banana boat. Booze cruises are also available and you will find that the boat does stop for a few hours so that you can jump off the back and go for a swim.

Playa del Ingles is home to many restaurants offering a wide variety of various cuisines. You will find a lot of seafood in the resort as well as Italian, English, Canarian and Chinese. On top of this you will find many American fast food restaurants such as McDonald\'s by the seafront. There are many bars and clubs in the resort that are open until dawn, offering various styles of music. Many hotels also have nightclubs and put on entertainment shows in the evening. You will find many shops in the resort selling souvenirs, clothing, jewellery and electronic goods. If Playa del Ingles is not enough for you, then a bus into other resorts such as Las Palmas may be good for you. The bus service is very reliable and offers a good rate on the fares, as do the taxis.



Playa Del Ingles - Perfect Summer Weather All Year Round

Playa del Ingles is located in the south, meaning it sees the best of the weather. It is very dry and hot in Playa del Ingles with very little rainfall. The summer temperatures are around 28°C in August and September, with January and February still reaching over 22°C. There is rarely any rain in the south as it is so warm and dry. The north will see most of the rain, however the winds from the north do sweep down to the south, however this is welcomed as it keeps the temperatures stable. The rain normally falls between December and February but you still tend to get around 7 hours of sunshine a day. In the summer you will get around 12 hours of sunshine a day so there is plenty of time to have fun in the sun.
