San Miguel - A Quiet Little Resort
San Miguel is located on the north coast of Ibiza and is set among cliffs up in the hills. The resort is very appealing to people seeking a relaxing, peaceful holidays, mainly couples. There are the opportunities to relax on a beach or take scenic walks around the resort. There are amazing views to be seen in San Miguel and plenty for people to see and do. San Miguel is the perfect resort to visit if you are looking for something different to the other Ibiza resorts. The yellow sanded beach and clear shallow waters make the beach perfect for families with children.
San Miguel - Visit Caves Or Try Out The Water Sports
San Miguel does actually have quite a lot to do on offer. One of the \'must-sees\' is the C\'an Marca caves. You can receive guided tours around the caves, where you can also go inside a take a look. There are also excursions available such as a trip to the water park in Playa den Bossa, glass bottom boat trips, a trip to the casino where you can see live shows and Spanish dancing nights. As with all of the other resorts, you can also catch a coach island tour if you wish to see the rest of the island. The water sports that you can try are jet-skiing, paragliding, scuba diving, snorkelling and windsurfing. There is one disco in the resort but other than that, entertainment is kept within hotels.
San Miguel - Hotel Based Entertainment And Top Accommodation
San Miguel does have 5-star hotels as well as apartment complexes for tourists to stay in. All accommodation comes with magnificent views of the sea, pool or the hills. If you do want something else to look at then you are able to go and look at a few souvenir shops. There are bars and restaurants along the sea front which is home to the best fish restaurant in Ibiza. Public transport in San Miguel is very good, with buses connecting you to Ibiza Town, San Antonio and Santa Eulalia. There are banks in San Miguel open from 9am until 2pm Monday to Friday so you can change up money should you need to.
San Miguel - Sunlight Brightening Up The Whole Resort
As with most of the other resorts in Ibiza, San Miguel has a lot of sunlight during the summer. The beach is normally busy for most of the day during the summer, whereas you will have the beach to yourself in the winter months. There are obviously less hours of sunlight during the winter, however the sun is still very hot when it does come out. July and August are the hottest months in San Miguel, with the coldest being December and January. It can get colder in San Miguel compared to other resorts as it is located quite high up, so warm clothing is recommended.
