San Antonio - The Tourist Capital Of Ibiza
San Antonio is very popular for young tourists, particularly because of its vibrant nightlife. Located on the west coast of the island, San Antonio is filled with bars, clubs, pubs, cafés and restaurants. Although you may think that this is a resort for 18-30's - this is untrue, as families are also made very welcome. There are plenty of things for you to do both day and night in San Antonio. San Antonio is obviously much busier during the high season of the summer months, as this is when all the nightlife really comes alive, although the winter months still see quite a few visitors.
San Antonio - Alive And Full Of Action Both Day And Night
One thing for sure is that you will never run out of things to do day or night in San Antonio. During the day, you can enjoy a full selection of water sports, including scuba diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, paragliding and going on the inflatable banana boats and the doughnuts. Horse riding is available for both children and adults with full instruction, as well as minigolf, go-karting, cycling and walks around the resort. All of the water sports can be found at the beach. Once the day is over, there is no chance to rest and the nightlife of San Antonio comes alive. There is everything you can imagine with bars, discos, clubs, pubs, foam parties, happy hours, cocktail parties, karaoke parties, and all of this with top British DJ\'s. San Antonio is definitely a place for people with a lot of energy as many of the clubs do not close until 6am. San Antonio like many resorts is home to a fiesta. The San Antonio Festival day takes place from August 17th to 24th and has an amazing fireworks display that many people watch and enjoy. There are many banks in San Antonio for you to change up your money and these tend to be open from 9am to 2pm. Unsurprisingly, there are medical centres in San Antonio that will accept emergencies 24 hours a day but are generally open between 9:30am to 1:30pm and then again from 5pm until 9pm. San Antonio is just a short 20 minute drive from Ibiza Town which is also famous for its incredible nightlife. You will find all sorts of accommodation here from hotels to villas to apartments to hostels and they are all priced from low budget holidays to fairly expensive holidays. The hotels range from 2-stars to 4-stars. Public transport in San Antonio is brilliant, taking you to other lively resorts such as Ibiza Town and back again, both day and night. There are plenty different cuisines for you to try in San Antonio so suit everybody. These include Spanish, Italian, British and Chinese. Sangria is a favourite drink in San Antonio and can be found in all restaurants.
San Antonio - Brilliant Weather Both Day And Night
San Antonio is home to some brilliant weather, with the day being well above 30ºC and the evening temperatures still remaining high. This is because of the adrenaline coming from people running around and dancing until the early hours of the morning. The winter months bring more of a chill to the air meaning jackets and warmer clothing is needed. Although there is some sunlight, it is not for long so make sure you get in it while you can. August is the busiest month in San Antonio as well as being the hottest. Always make sure you are drinking a lot of water when on holiday as the heat can become intense.
