Playa De Palma - Located On The South Coast Of Majorca

Playa de Palma is only 20 minutes away from the airport so you have plenty of time in your resort. The only problem with being so close to the airport is that you can experience some aircraft noise during take-off, but it isn't too loud. The beach is very popular with miles of golden sands and clear seas. The resort is very popular amongst young groups of singles and couples as it has something to cater to all of them. There are many hotels and apartments to choose from ranging from 2-4-stars with many budget hotels for people looking to pay less. You will also find various different board basis being put on offer, although self-catering is the most popular.



Playa De Palma - Plenty For Everyone To Do

There are many water sports available such as windsurfing, jet-skiing, snorkelling and scuba diving. If water sports do not interest you, then horse-riding, minigolf, tennis and cycling are all available. For those of you who interested in trying something different, then there are romantic horse-drawn carriage rides for you to try. Aqualand el Arenal is close by and worth a visit as it is something that people of all ages can enjoy. Excursions into Palma are also available where you can go shopping and look around the various museums and art galleries that the resort has to offer.



Playa De Palma - A More Relaxed Nightlife

Although there are nightclubs dotted around, there is only one that is truly in Playa de Palma. There are however a few bars where you will be able to enjoy music, karaoke and live shows or cabaret acts. There are many restaurants available that offer Mediterranean, Spanish, Chinese, Italian and English cuisine, as well as some fast food places such as Burger King. There is a fairly good public transport service with buses travelling to Palma and regular taxis as well. There are a few shops around Playa de Palma, however there are more in Palma and other resorts. You will be able to find souvenirs, leather clothing, clothing and jewellery.



Playa De Palma - Perfect Weather For A Busy Resort

Playa de Palma has very hot weather, especially during July and August. All the way between May and October is sunshine and its only from November to April that you may need a jacket in the evenings. It is also more likely to rain in the winter months so you may wish to wrap up warm. However, there is always sunshine at some stage during the day, and this is normally very warm. The temperatures are around 30C in the summer and rarely fall below 10C. The water temperatures tend to remain high, making the beach the perfect place to go and top up your tans and try some water sports.
