Ibiza Town Information

Ibiza Town - Home To Vibrant Nightlife

Ibiza Town is the capital of Ibiza and is definitely worth a visit. Everything happens in Ibiza Town from relaxing to being up dancing all night. Bars, clubs and restaurants can be found all over Ibiza Town. Although Ibiza Town may be known as the clubbing capital, it also is home to a lot of history. There is actually a World Heritage Site consisting of a drawbridge leading to a square full of cobbled roads, an old cathedral, and stunning views. These are all located in Ibiza Old Town. There are also galleries and museums in the more romantic Ibiza Old Town as well as restaurants where they are many courtyards, designer boutiques and candle-lit meals for two. Ibiza Town is one of the biggest clubbing scenes known in Europe. There are street cafes, bars, discos, clubs and restaurants. Although there are not many accommodations in Ibiza Town, there are some in the nearby resorts meaning you can get a good nights sleep away from the noise.

Ibiza Town - The Watersports Are Always Available

Apart from clubbing and dancing the night away, there is not that much to that will excite young people in Ibiza Town. There is the Ibiza Town festival which ends with a brilliant firework display on July 15th and August 5th to 8th which is very enjoyable to watch. There are a few water sports available such as windsurfing and snorkelling, but many of the activites can be found in neighbouring resorts, such as the water park, golf and other water sports. You can go on the banana boats and the doughnut inflatables during the day which are available from the beach. There is plenty of night time shopping for you to take part in in Old Town. You can buy clothes, bags, sports wear, souvenirs and jewellery to take back home with you.

Ibiza Town - Nightlife Exceeds The Day

Ibiza Town is the perfect resort for young groups to visit. Bars and clubs are open until the early hours of the morning and there are plenty to choose from. Although you may not think it, Ibiza Town has been known to be very romantic. There are more than 10 restaurants for you to choose from, offering Spanish, Indian, Chinese, Italian and English cuisines. There are plenty of banks in Ibiza Town as it has been known for drinks to get quite expensive. Banks open between 9am and 2pm.

Ibiza Town - Fabulous Weather Both Day And Night

The weather in Ibiza Town is brilliant, with the day being well above 30ÂșC and the evening temperatures still remaining high. This is because of the adrenaline coming from people running around and dancing until the early hours of the morning. The winter months bring more of a chill to the air meaning jackets and warmer clothing is needed. Although there is some sunlight, it is not for long so make sure you get in it while you can. August is the busiest month in Ibiza Town as well as being the hottest. Always make sure you are drinking a lot of water when on holiday as the heat can become intense.
