    Iberostar Bellis Hotel  5-Star

Excellent hotel, immaculately clean, excellent customer service, they couldn't be more helpful. The entertainment staff were so friendly but didnt push the activities on you. The October half term week was hot and sunny every day with temperatures averaging 25c. Cold in evenings but lay by the pool every day. We were one of only four English families in the hotel that week, the rest being a mix if german, French and Russians but everyone was very friendly and majority of staff could speak English. Would def return again next year!!

    Sueno Hotel Beach Side

The disco and outside disco very very loud at night. Bar staff impatient and sometimes rude but in fairness was short staffed. Main buffet restaurant noisy and resembled a school canteen. Very difficult to find a table for six at evening meal time. Entertainment was quite tacky !!! However, on a positive note it was very good value for money and loads to do for the children. We would have liked two bathrooms as our two rooms were adjoining. One room had a double bed only and the other room two single beds and two put you beds. One bathroom between six was a bit much when we all needed showers before dinner. Hotel could also do with a courtesy bus into town as the road outside was quite dangerous.

    Lemas Suite Hotel  3-Star

liked the apartment maid service very good choice of 2 pools the second pool was not looked after as the main pool. in fact puppies doing their business all over the place smell of urine and broken glass not cleaned up was a big no no, swimming with frogs if you like them. If you want to stay in the hotel for the duration not enough going on. I have been going to Turkey for the last 10 years and this year was the biggest disapointment for me. The hotel is situated at the back of beyond even the taxi drivers were asking where it is, didnt give you much confidence that you would get back to the hotel. The walk to a dolmus is about 10 mins. You dont get what you pay for on the tours in fact I have never been ripped off as much as I was in Side, its not worth complaining to the tour operators as they just shrug their shoulders, so watch out for all the hidden costs they dont tell you about. Therefore I would never recommend this part of Turkey to anyone. They are not catering for the British as other parts of Turkey do.

We were only the third english to stay here and it was amazing !! We had a lakeside room 3116 and wow was the word!! Book it now! We were dissaponted with service on first arriving but it definately improved as the week went on! I think this was because everthing including staff were all brand new. We would certainly return to the same room it was worth every single penny and I just hope more english visit now as they loved us!!! Fantastic location and beautiful views over the beach definately visit as we loved every minute of it and didn't want to leave. Thank you to all.

    Aska Costa Holiday Club  5-Star

We had a lovely holiday at this hotel but felt the hotel is really not a 5*. Some of the accommodation needs updating and the shower / bath in our room (1610) was awful and the the tiling etc needed attention. We have for the last 2 years booked through you and stayed at Long Beach Hotel and that hotel is definitely a 5* hotel and puts the Aska Costa to shame, having said that we still enjoyed our holiday.

    Selenium Hotel  3-Star

A very comfortable small hotel, with friendly and attentive staff, located close to dolmuş routes to Manavgat and other areas of Side. Beach and old town walkable from hotel, as are several restaurants. Communal areas of the hotel are clean and comfortable, with pleasant restaurant and bar area. Very nice pool. Rooms are small, but comfortable, with bed, dressing table and stool, air conditioning unit, TV, mini bar fridge and wardrobe. En suite clean and well appointed with shower cubicle (with hot water!), sink and WC.

    Lara Beach Hotel

Hotel was 1st class. The staff were excellent, a special mention to Mr Adem who took an interest in our scottish party, also, dennis who liased with all and sundry and assisted to make our stay very comfortable. Must mention, lovely smiling lady who worked her socks off in the lobby bar, I can't recall her name, but any guests who met her would realise who she was by her manner and dedicated service and her "sunshine smile" along with other members of staff she helped to converse with us and we managed to pick up some local phrases which helped to make our stay even more enjoyable. My only down side was having to leave. ... lastly can i suggest that a light be erected above the public telephones which are fixed to a wall outside the foyer of the building, and very difficult to read the buttons at night time, more so when we are trying to read from a phone card and dial at the same time... nearly forgot to mention "hakki" the pasta man who made the finest meals at the pool bar. He is now known as the pastamaster.... as big arnie says " I, ll be back"

    Amara Dolce Vita  5-Star

The hotel was wonderful. We had a deluxe room, which was perfect except for the air-conditioning, which did not work properly maybe because it was out of season. The staff were very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. It was out of season as i have said when we went so could not comment on all the facilities and entertainment but what we did see was very good and we did see a great deal of work being done to the presentation of the hotel. The food was excellent always a variety but as it's Turkey do not expect a full English. The pool area and beach were very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

    Side Sun  4-Star

We really enjoyed our stay here. Preferred by mostly German tourists, the hotel provides everything you are looking for. Direct access to the beach, comfortable rooms, ample choice of food and drinks. Friendly and helpful personnel. Friendly for families with children. Popular with seniors, maybe a little bit too much, especially outside the holiday season. Therefore sometimes a little bit crowded during high peak time at breakfast and dinner In summary absolutely recommendable.

    Hotel Papillon Belvil  5-Star

The hotel was really nice and the staff worked very hard. The pool was very clean, as was everywhere, and the food was really good. All in all great value for money and there were people from all parts of the world. We had a nice time and my 14 year old wants to go back next year. The beach was clean and sandy, with lots of sunbeds. I would go again, but earlier in the year. We did have sunny days but cloud and rain too, but it was end of October.

    Sun City Apartments (Aparthotel)  4-Star

We booked Sun City Hotel but did not stay in the Hotel as they said they were fully booked so placed us into apts opposite the hotel that they had rented. The first room was too small, so the next day I complained to Sun City who arranged for us to be moved into a 2 bedroon Apt. They also gave us a free meal every night and also free air conditioning for the inconvenience caused. Overall we got the best deal as this Hotel (Bartu) was very quiet as everyone used Sun Citys facilities instead. Customers should have told about this and the hotel should not be overcommiting on bookings and there was no choice but to stay in these Apts as Sun City did not have a room for us.

The hotel and location and service was very good but the experience was ruined by loud, thumping disco music across the bay, which made it difficult to sleep at night. I would love to return but unless they do something about the noise pollution at night, I would not go back.

Pretty basic room, but fine for a couple that didn't use it much. Despite various reviews on other websites, the food was excellent. The staff could not do any more. Rooms serviced every day with nices touches added. The pools were immaculate. All surrounds cleaned every morning. In tip top condition - no broken tiles or wobbly ladders. Absolutely worth the 3 star rating.

Our first time in Turkey - would consider trying another location, maybe directly on the beach and with sand. I would have preferred a beach holiday rather than a pool holiday. The hotel was cheap, trying to charge for extras at certain times of the day. No food was available after the dinner hour, we had to go outside of the hotel. Overall we all had a good time.
