“ A lovely hotel in a lovely setting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room & bathroom were comfortable, spacious and clean. Although we couldn't understand why we were provided with a kettle and 2 mugs but no teabags, milk coffee etc., & reception were a bit baffled by our request but suggested we take some up from the breakfast buffet. We got a good deal with Flightline.co.uk which included breakfast, & although there was plenty to choose from, whatever time we went in, the hot buffet was always cold. The evening meal provided good choice although mainly meat, and being a vegetarian I always managed to find something to suit me.The outdoor pool area was kept clean & towelling covered cushions put on sun loungers daily, although being March, we didn't use the pool, nor the indoor pool as we were on a short visit.Overall a good experience & would recommend to others ”

“ I set foot in our room and was disgusted with the condition. I wouldn't have said it was 2* and the view of the brick wall on the balcony wasn't appealing either. It advertised internet, but there wasn't and we booked a double room not a twin - the receptionist didn't have a clue what we were saying so I ended up walking out and found another hotel for the Friday night. ”

“ This is a lovely hotel, the rooms are superb even proper hair dryers! Good choice breakfast too. The pool is on the roof and is a bit small, you need to be there first thing to get a bed. On our first night there were street drinkers outside until 4 am so we changed rooms after that to the top floor. ”

“ Very good hotel. Because it is on a narrow street, the view of its frontal area is severely restricted. Reception staff were very helpful but some struggle a little with English language. ”
