Lambis Studios
“ Studios were excellent. Only draw back was the steep slope up to the rooms but by the end of the week we were used to it. ”

Venus Hotel Rhodes Town
“ We stayed 1 week on a bed & breakfast basis and have no complaints. Although the room was small it was cleaned every day and the hotel owners and staff were very pleasant. Also the hotel is in a great location in the new town so would recommend for anyone wanting a fairly cheap holiday in a pleasent hotel with basic rooms, which we weren't in much anyway. ”

Kamari Beach Hotel
“ Overal ery nice hotel. Quiet location, so if youre looking for lively evenings then I suggest Faliraki. But perfect for relaxing un hurried time. But do expect to find that youre one of only a handful of British people. Over run by Germans and Russians, though, to be honest, they were ok. Just need get up 2am to beat the Germans to the towel on lounger race! Recommended for good value, good food, good location holiday. ”

Mitsis Hotels Petit Palais
“ Unfortunately, due to Greek Air Traffic Control we arrived at the hotel at ca.1.00 am.The bar was closed and there was no bottled water in the fridge, the aircon had not been switched on, so the room was very hot. The room was on the ground floor/terrace, not a choice I would make ! However, the next day, the Reception Staff were very good, they found us a room on the top floor, which was excellent ! From then on we had a lovely holiday, the All inclusive was good value. Two small points, the pool area is not large, also the bar erea, but not a big problem. ”

Blue Sky Beach Hotel
“ I would not recommend this hotel. The Blue sky would struggle to obtain two stars in the U.K. Most of the carpets are worn and badly stained, the bath room and shower were way to small and the beds are to hard! Breakfast was nothing to shout home about the bacon was always swimming in grease and the scrambled eggs always sat in a pool of green water! We had a sea view room and the noise from the traffic and drunks shouting during the early hours was to much. We asked for a room change but were unable to have one until we had been there for four days! The only good point was that most of the staff were very helpful except for one women on reception who had very little patience. ”

Orion Studios
“ Nice hotel, good value for money. Relatively basic but you get what you pay for. Tose at reception don't speak much English but the woman running the pool bar was amazing. Self catering meant a hob that didn't work and minimal utensils, but pool bar was good value for money. Hotel was in a very good location, near 2 strip of bars, beach and restaurants. Many of the bar workers hang out here during the day, a very socialble place. ”

Koala Hotel
“ Not good value for all inclusive as we had to go out for drinks as very very poor undrinkable. Room Good, service poor, lacked good basic hygiene in dining area and buffet food left uncovered and not refrigerated. Ice cream left part defrosted in freezer, which was not fit for use. Pool looked fine but didn't use it - we chose the beach instead with free bus. ”

Tsampika Studios Pefkos
“ I had a very comfortable stay at the Tsambika Studios. Accommodation and facilities are basic but that's what I paid for. Limited cooking utensils and usual 2-ring hob/kettle. Bathroom was basically a wet-room - no actual shower cubicle - shower curtained off from bathroom but was fine - plenty of hot water. 5 mins walk from the nearest sandy beach (Pefkos has several) and 2 mins from the main strip. Just the right end for me as nearest bar was the Rock Bar. I would stay here again as it was very reasonable. Room serviced every day. Cleaner came around 11-12 so not too early. You have to provide your own toilet roll after the first one (I know it's self-catering but sometimes you get this included with the service). Air-con/safe is extra - paid 90 Euros for the two for 11 days. Makes it a bit pricier but all the studios seem to do this. Would recommend if you're okay with basic but clean and convenient. Pefkos itself has plenty of good restaurants, some bars - generally quietish (apart from the Rock Bar & Jimmy's) but spent several nights in Lindos for Rhodes Rock festival. Buses run fairly frequently and taxi back is 8 euros. I had a great holiday and can't wait to book for next year. ”

Corali Studios
“ We stayed in the 'self-catering ' apartments. These are very basic and I would not have liked to try and cook a meal in one. However, they are very clean and comfortable and the views are to die for. Be warned, that if you are a light sleeper the noise from the main road is really loud through the night as the airport buses are dropping off all the time. I should say that these apartments are not really suitable for disabled or infirm people as the price you pay for the fab views is a very steep walk up to the apartments. The owners and staff are very welcoming and the food, which you can acquire all day, is reasonably priced and delicious. The pool is particularly good if you want to swim and the sea is a few steps away. I would return to the Corali and recommend it to others but I would go on a bed and breakfast basis as these apartments are right on the sea front and don't get the road noise. ”

Euroxenia Marathon Hotel
“ Even for a budget priced holiday this was very poor. Food was raw on several occasions. Food was served just warm. Several people had upset tummies alot of people including ourselves ate at other resturants which is unacceptable when we paid for all inclusive !! Hotel was clean and staff were friendly except for chef but even so we will not be repeating this experience. ”

Hotel Kalithea Sun & Sky
“ Hotel tired-looking and could do with renovation. Though quite a variety of food, it was very often cold. Rooms were cleaned daily, clean towels daily and bed linen changed every third day. Staff extremely friendly. Wasn't particulary keen on the resort, though in fairness as it was the last week of the season a lot of shops/restaurants/hotels/bars closed or preparing to shut down for the winter. Basically you only get what you pay for. It wasn't a bad experience but would not holiday there in the future. ”

Electra Palace Rhodes
“ We have just returned from 2 weeks in October 2010. Contrary to some negative reviews, we decided to book this hotel. We weren't disappointed! The hotel and staff were excellent, food varied and in abundance. The only thing we found disappointing was the entertainment, which we feel was due to the fact that the hotel was closing at the end of October. Some UK artist's contract had finished as we arrived. However, this would not put us off booking this hotel again, probably in September, and we would definitely recommend it. ”

Anseli Hotel
“ Comfortable hotel, friendly staff and good breakfasts. The pool was more a plunge than swimming pool, however great after a hot day to have a plunge before dinner! Beach within walking distance, as well as the lively town of Kremasti with excellent local restaurants and not far from sights and Rhodes Town. Yes airplanes come over as on flight path to airport, but not really too much of a problem. Good value for money and in a quieter part of the town, but could be difficult to find for independent travellers. Only winge was the fact that the cooking space was inaccessible because fridge placed on top. Didn't worry us as we ate in restaurant or out in town, but for people who really want to self cater, this would have been impossible. ”

Saint George Hotel
“ If you love pasta then you will love this hotel!! Every night you will be offered pasta, mash and chips. Food was plain and cheap. The dessert is jelly and fruit every night. The hotel is not in pefcos or lardos, its in no mans land. The street outside has one bar and 2 shops and thats it. The beach is sandy but in the water its very large boulders. I will NEVER return to the Saint George. ”

“ It was my first time staying fully inclusive and was unsure of what to expect. We were limited as to what we could drink as regard to cheaper varients. The impression from others is poor in comparison to whats expected of fully inclusive. I will research next time as to what is offered, as i am aware its run within a budget. thank you james ”
