Althea Village Hotel   “ The Athea Village complex is very well-maintained and clean, and offers excellent accommodation, especially the upgrade apartments with sitting room and kitchenette area. The nearby fine sandy beaches are also very nice and within walking distance. The area between the hotel and the beach isn't so pretty, with a main road to negotiate on the way. However, all in all the hotel location was fine with a cheap regular bus service into the charming Chania old town taking about 15 minutes. (7 euros by taxi). There are a few nice tavernas nearby and plenty in Chania town to choose from, so apart from the adequate breakfast, we didn't dine at the hotel.
