West End Hotel
“ I found the location excellent and the staff very helpful. Had a room on the 6th floor 626 which I found was lovely with a view to the Alps. Would use this hotel again. Breakfast was lovely too with plenty of choice. ”

Faubourg 216-224 Hotel
“ Very disappointed with the standard of this hotel, supposedly a 3 star. The pictures on the web flatter and mislead. Double rooms (we asked to be moved from the first allocated room to a slighty bigger room!) were claustrophopic, with dirty towels, plastic cups, shower etc. Mini-fridge not working. No ice available at bar for taking to room (eventually we were given a rather grubby ice tray!) Breakfast was acceptable and the location was useful for easy access to explore Paris. Not recommended. ”

Villa Victoria Hotel
“ The hotel was very clean and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The hotel was in walking distance of most of the attractions of Nice. The continental breakfast provided what we needed but felt the quality of the some of the food needed improving. The overall holiday was excellent. ”

Mediterranee
“ I was gratified to find that this hotel was much better than some of the reviews would have led me to believe. Do not listen to the negative comments - it is a delightful establishment in a fabulous location. Menton is a very happy town, full of French joie de vivre, with the quirky Jean Cocteau connection. The Mediterranee reflects this, and its retro/Fifties decor represents the very essence of the Riviera. Try it - you'll like it! ”

Majestic Lourdes
“ The hotel was centrally situated and very handy for shops, sanctuary and local sites like the museum and the pic du Jer. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and we got to see and pray at Lourdes and experiece the baths, which was what we went for. In the evening we walked to Lourdes for the procession with our candles. ”

Holiday Inn Garden Court Porte de Saint Ouen
“ We stayed in the hotel for two nights and found our stay reasonable. If you're expecting a no thrills room and service then this is for you. The one thing we didn't know about until later is that you are charged if you book a taxi through the hotel. ”

Residhotel les Hauts d'Andilly
“ The hotel staff were lovely. The hotel could do with better breakfast menu. Also free WiFi was one of the attractions but it was not available while I stayed there. Location is a bit tricky though the suburbs and hotel environment are really cool. ”

Sun Riviera
“ Nice location, only a few mins from the beach, and located on one of the main shopping streets. Room a little small and shower in room 19 a mission to get in/out! staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast best avoided, nothing wrong but 14 euros for a continental! Better value can be had away from the hotel. Try the Carlton on the seafront 10euros for T and cakes and mix it with the celebs! ”

Mister Bed Porte de Bagnolet Paris
“ They advertised air conditioning. Even states it on the sealed windows. However, there was certainly NO air con. The woman on the service desk the morning of Monday 15th June was not helpful when trying to purchase breakfast. However I don't think it was her fault, I think there is poor policy in place. ”

Campanile CHR Hotel
“ Located just on the outskirts of Lille. Easy access to major roads. Quiet hotel. English spoken. Rooms clean but spartan. Bed firm. Loads of hot water and clean towels. Disabled rooms on ground floor but no access to check-in or restaurant. Car park secure after 23:00. $9.00 for all you can eat breakfast. Cheaper to book online with Flightline than just turning up! ”

Best Western Hotel Le Montparnasse
“ Good basic hotel offering breakfast and tea making facilities. Good location, 3 minutes from Metro. Relatively easy to walk to the main attractions from the Hotel. Our wash hand basin was chipped. ”
