Aparthotel Horizonte Bay
“ Hotel was difficut to find as we arrived in the evening by hire car and there were no street signs, also no sign on the hotel. Room was better than expected as there was a fridge and cooking facilitied, if required. There were twin beds with the alternative of a double sofa bed. The hotel is in quite a remote position with a forty minute walk to the nearest town and decent beach, so not very good for families with small children unless they intended to spend the whole holiday by the pool. Staff were excellent. Sall and Oscar were very friendly and Andreas, the entertainment man did his best to involve all the guests. As the hotel is quite small with not too many guests an intimate atmosphere developed with all the guests getting to know each other. Unfortunately the holidy was spoiled by the quality of the food. Breakfast was generally O.K., although it would have been nice to have orange juice rather than squash. Cannot comment on the lunch as we ate out mostly, but the dinners provided were pretty poor.I appreciate that the holiday was inexpensive but even on a tight budget the food could have been more appetizing. It would have been good if coffee could have been available in the dining room in the evening. Drinks were generally O.K. except that they kept the red wine in the fridge in the bar, although they did keep it out when we complained. ”

Hotel Miramar Pirate´s Gate
“ The hotel was of good appearance, with great staff service and hospitality. The rooms are spacious, clean and have the adequate fixtures and fittings needed for a holiday. The food i wouldnt rate as fantastic due to the fact that many dishes were the same throughout my stay. The nightlife in and surrounding the hotel is great with nightclub inside the hotel and a restaurant and bar/nightclub 2 minutes walk from the hotel. I have stayed at this hotel twice before in 2010 and many changes have taken place since then. I would actually say that i have enjoyed the hotel more before these changes have been made. ”

Columbia Beach Resort
“ We wanted a relaxing week with some sun with our 4 and 6 year olds. Columbia was more beautiful than we expected and a design masterpiece. You are welcomed right from the start. The service is faultless and refreshingly not overly attentive. Here you can relax, with fab food, spa, amazing pool (we all swam everyday despite the water being cold, if you are hardy it is fine) and bay beach for walking along. At this time of year you are well away from the hustle and bustle, but with the spa and location there is plenty to do for a week. The room was spacious, quiet and you can control your own heating. The only criticism was the the children's sofa bed. They were fine as they are so little, but older children would complain as it wasn't that comfortable. A wonderful hotel. Thank you to all the staff and the architect of this beautiful hotel. ”

Akteon Holiday Village
“ I have travelled quite extensively throughout 5 of the 6 continents, and stayed at many places including a missionary Church in Mwanza, Tanzania as well as the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. This is by far the WORST place I have ever stayed at. The rooms were filthy. For example, we had hair in our bed the night we checked in. The receptionist, gave us a sheet and said, that WE should change it. The next morning we noticed an ant infectation in our kitchen. The cleaner promptly sprayed in and left the dead cadavres in our room for 5 days. ”

Hotel Sun Island
“ upon arrival we were just handed our keys to our appartment & was told what direction to go in, nothing said about where we eat, or were to find out were the entertainment was or any thing. rooms were ok, apart from lack of cleaning, not sure if this was to do with bank holidays, as we stayed 27th dec - 3rd jan. room was cleaned twice. there are 8 pools & two hot tubs, (or should i say freezing cold tubs & pools), we were very dissapointed about this as when i booked this one was thing that my family wanted was a warm pool, there was one, if you have children under 4. would not recommend for the teens, nothing for them to do. food was very nice. stayed @ paradise island in dec 2010 apart from cold pools again we did prefer this one . ”

Moroccan House Riad Hotel
“ Moroccan House Riad Hotel, a lovely 4 star hotel, are room had the views of the Atlais Mountains which was amazing. Our room was a normal standard double room, which you would get in England, so no complaints on are room. The staff in the hotel was all very helpful and polite. Our hotel rep was the best rep we have either had, always on the end of the phone when need, not a problem to see you when you require. We went half board, we had no complaints with our breakfeast and evening meal. Choice of Moroccan food was good. In all this hotel is rated a 4 Star and should be kept at this. We would return to this hotel again. ”

“ A good clean Spanish hotel with polite friendly staff. You get what you pay for, so don't expect a large selection of food although food quality is very good and you wont starve. Bedrooms are quite roomy, cleaned every day with towels changed. My visit this December was my 9th time and will be back in 2012. Could not complete the star rating, as page not working properly. Catering. 3 star Pools. 4 star ”

“ A most enjoyable stay. Everywhere was clean and the staff friendly. The bar / resteraunt lacked any atmosphere due mainly to no people there. The food was worth a try and not to expensive for a hotel. For a self catering holiday it was good value. ”

Citymax Hotel Burdubai
“ I was quite impressed with this hotel. It's relatively new and was very clean. In fact, the room was spotless and had clean towels & bedding every day. Foodwise, I stayed on a bed & breakfast basis and although the choice was a little limited, the food quality was excellent. Hotel staff in the reception area were quite helpful but some of them didnt speak very good english. The pool area is on the roof of the hotel but only had a limited number of seats but I tended to use the courtesy bus provided by the hotel to the beach. The hotel is situated in a good area for restaurants and shops but its quite far from some of the main tourist attractions such as Burj Al Arab Hotel & Palm Jumeriah. Overall, I was very pleased with this hotel and would highly recommend it for single travellers like myself or couples. However, in my opinion the hotel wouldnt be suitable for families due to small pool area and limited facilities in the hotel. ”

Royal Grand Azure
“ Fabulous Hotel - very large but not at all cramped - exactly like the brochure pictures. Staff so keen to please and really friendly. The grounds were beautiful and didn't see ANY rubbish at all during stay - staff constantly cleaning and taking pride in their work. Rooms very spacious and modern with marble bathrooms - bed was huge! Beach amazing - sea was too rough and cold to swim in but would be super in warmer months. Loads of sun beds and great snack bar for light lunches. Amazing array of food options - something for everyone - the main Zodiac Restaurant was superb with food beatifully displayed especially deserts. 10 / 10 - Can't wait to returm!! ”

The Federal Kuala Lumpur
“ We arrived in KL a day late, having notified the hotel in advance - we only required a room at short notice between our arrival at about 4 pm and departure at 9 in the evening to catch an overnight train to Penang. Although not required to under our booking arrangement, the Federal Hotel reception staff asked for advice from the duty manager and very kindly provided us with the use of a room to rest and shower before having a meal - no additional charge was made for this, since they agreed we had already paid for the previous cancelled night. Excellent room, general facilities and customer relations - we will use the Federal Hotel again on future KL visits, hopefully for a bit longer next time! ”
