Kemer - Located near the midpoint to Turkey's South coast

Kemer is a brilliant family resort with plenty of facilities, beaches and stunning scenery. The transfer time for this resort is around 1 hour meaning you have plenty of time to look at the scenery that Turkey has to offer and to gain an understanding of the location of you resort and your accommodation within the resort. The beach is very attractive with sunbeds and parasols available. These get taken very quickly in the summer season though. The sea is generally calm and safe, however there are coastguards located along the beach should anything go wrong. There are both hotels and apartments in Kemer, with many of the hotels offering an all-inclusive board basis. All facilities that you will need when on holiday can be found in your accommodation.

Kemer – many water-based activities

If you enjoy getting in the water then make sure you head to the beach to enjoy a vast amount of of water sports. Here, you can enjoy parasailing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, windsurfing, surfing, scuba diving and snorkelling. Speed-boat hire and pedallo hire is available as well as rides on banana boats. As well as the sports, you can also go and see the beach-front dolphinarium which is very popular among both adults and children. A popular excursion to go on is the boat trip to cliff cave which is very interesting and exciting as it is something that you wouldn\'t do at home. Shopping and sightseeing around the rest of Antalya is popular as well as going to see the crumbling city of Olympos and the Taurus Mountains.

Kemer – a very relaxed resort

There are a lot of Turkish restaurants in Kemer; especially along the beach-front. You may find other cuisines in the hotels and there is normally a wider range of things to choose from. Kemer is a fairly quiet and laid-back resort apart from in the high season. There are a few late night bars offering music and entertainment as well as a few discos. If that isn\'t for you, then why not try out one of the many opera or ballet festivals. There are a few boutiques and leather stores available and you will be able to find plenty of souvenirs. Cash machines are available should you need to use them as well. Public transport is available with buses and even a tour bus.

Kemer – 300 days of pure sunshine

Kemer has typical Mediterranean weather with very hot summers, high humidity and no rain. Winters in Kemer are still mild, however they can be wet. January is the coldest month, ranging from around 8-15°C. July and August are considerably warmer with temperatures reaching above 40°C in the morning. In the evening, temperatures can still be above 30°C, however in the winter it can be as low as 5°C.
