The brilliant beach resort of Belek is perfect for families. In contrast to Antalya, it is not a resort to visit if you are looking for culture. Transfers to Belek take around 40 minutes. This gives you plenty of time to take in the scenery along the way and get an understanding of the location of the resort and your accommodation within the resort. The beaches in Belek are clean and popular with both locals and tourists. Many of the beaches have actually been awarded the European Blue Flag for their cleanliness. The sand is golden and many water sports can be carried out from the beach. Most of the hotels in Belek are 5-star. There is already a holiday village there and most of the hotels offer an all-inclusive board basis.

There is only a small selection of restaurants in Belek, which is why the hotels offer so many more cuisines. Belek restaurants are predominately Turkish whereas the hotels offer Turkish, Japanese, Italian, Chinese and a lot of seafood. The cabaret shows are the main source of night-time entertainment to be found in Belek. If bars are your scene, try a trip to Kadriye. Kadriye's also a great place to shop. Here you will find souvenirs, clothing, jewellery and a few designer boutiques. There are buses available every half hour into Kadriye, Alanya and Antalya. Taxis are also available and can be found throughout the resorts.
Belek offers a typically Mediterranean climate, meaning hot summers and mild winters. July and August are the warmest months in Belek with temperatures regularly reaching above 30°C. It is possible to see rain in the winter months, however very unlikely in the summer months. The temperature is usually 10-15°C in the winter, however it has been known to lower to around 5°C at times.
