Valencia - Located along Spain's Mediterranean East coast

The public transport in Valencia is reliable and frequent. There is a good bus service available as well as a tram system. Taxis can be found outside many hotels but check the meter. Trains are also available and take you to Madrid, Alicante and Barcelona.

Valencia – typical Mediterranean climate

Valencia has some brilliant summer weather. It is hot but not too humid and winters are warm in the day and cooler in the evenings. Most of the rain falls between October and December, however there are only around 44 days where rain does occur. Summer in Valencia is hot throughout the day with clear blue skies. July and August are the warmest months in Valencia, with the average temperature being around 28C. January appears to be the coldest month with a maximum temperature of 15°C and a minimum temperature of 5°C. The coldest temperature in July is 20°C so you can see that Valencia is a warm place to be.
