The transfer time for this resort can be anything from one hour to one and a half hours, depending on where in the resort you are staying. The main beach in Sitges is very attractive with fine sands and rock formations bordering it. There are many hotels, some old, some new. You can obviously go swimming, as well as jet-skiing, water-skiing, scuba diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, surfing and parasailing. You can also go sailing or fishing. This is very popular and everyone is allowed to join in. if you would prefer to be away from the beach altogether, then try golf, horse-riding, tennis, bowling, cycling, roller blading or even hiking. If you prefer to do more relaxing activities then why not visit on of the museums. There is an art museum with pictures by Picasso, which is very popular with both tourists and locals. There are also many walking tours to go on, as well as looking at the many mansions around the resort.
Sitges is home to some fantastic restaurants offering many cuisines. Everyone who visits the resort is catered for as there are Italian restaurants, Chinese restaurants, Spanish restaurants, seafood places, British restaurants and American style restaurants. There are also a few top-class restaurants that are very popular among tourists and locals. You will also find numerous cafés and fast food outlets that become very busy during closing time at the bars. If you want an exciting nightlife, then you have definitely come to the right place. There are many nightclubs that stay open until the early hours of the morning, as well as discos, bars and pubs. Many offer live music as well as entertainment, especially down by the seafront. There are plenty of shops for you to explore in Sitges. You will find everything from swim wear to souvenirs, for clothing shops to craft shops and from shoe shops to bag shops.
