This gives you plenty of time to look around at the scenery and get an understanding for the resort that you are staying in. Artola beach is one of the best in Puerto Banus with its fine sands stretching for a mile. There are plenty of hotels to choose from, all ranging from 3-5-stars. You will find that many hold an all-inclusive board basis option. You will also find a few self-catering apartments available.

Puerto Banus is home to a large number of activities for you to enjoy. There are plenty of water sports for you to try including water-skiing, jet-skiing, windsurfing, surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, dolphin watching, go sailing, go fishing or even hire a pedallo. If you prefer to stay on fry land then why not try mountain biking or hiking. You can experience some amazing views along the way and it is a brilliant chance to see the whole island. Horse-riding is very popular and a great way to get around the resort. If you want some more activity then why not try tennis. Golf is also very popular in Puerto Banus with some brilliant courses available.

You will find bars and clubs with live music, entertainment and DJ\'s in Puerto Banus. The resort is lively in the evening as is neighbouring Marbella. There are many shops in Puerto Banus. You will find some designer outlets, other clothing stores, jewellery, souvenirs, department stores and electrical goods. Public transport in the resort is good with regular and reliable buses taking you around the resort and into others.

Puerto Banus – brilliantly sunny weather

The average annual temperature of Puerto Banus is 19°C. The average summer temperature is 23°C, although during July and August temperatures can reach up to 29°C. The water temperature in the summer is around 24°C making the water perfect for swimming and water sports. You will have around 11 hours of sunshine a day in the summer months between June and August. During the winter, the temperature is still only 12°C. The coldest month is January and the winters tend to be relatively dry. There are only around 45 days of rainfall in a year and this usually clears up very quickly. You still have around 6-7 hours of sunshine a day in Puerto Banus in the winter months. November and February tend to be the wettest months in the resort.
