Cambrils - Located in North-East Spain on the Mediterranean Coast

Cambrils is popular with people all ages although families seem to favour the resort. Your transfer time can be anything from 45 minutes to an hours and 20 minutes depending on where in the resort you are staying. This gives you plenty of time to look at the scenery that Costa Dorada has to offer. Cambrils – plenty of activities to keep you occupied

There is plenty to do in Cambrils both day and night. There are many water sports available at the beaches, such as, windsurfing, surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, jet-skiing, water-skiing, sailing and fishing. Many people also choose to hire out pedalloes. There is also a big amusement park nearby that many people enjoy, as well as go-kart\'s. Nearby in La Pineda there is also one of the biggest water parks, which is popular with both children and adults. There are also plenty of excursions for you to come on such as visiting the Cathedrals, or going to Barcelona to shop and sight-see for the day. Trips to castles and boat trips along the river are also very popular.

Cambrils – something to suit everybody

No one will ever go hungry in Cambrils because there are so many different things on offer. You will find many British pubs offering you pub lunches and dinners, as well as Italian pizzerias, burger bars, Chinese restaurants, Spanish tapas bars and a lot of seafood. There are also some more classy restaurants if you decide that you want to splash out one night. If you like exciting nightlife, then this is definitely the resort for you, with hundreds of pubs and bars, music bars, karaoke bars, discos, nightclubs and flamenco bars. Many of the nightclubs also stay open until the early hours of the morning. There are many shops in Cambrils offering many different things such as souvenirs, leather, clothing, perfume, cosmetics, shoes and bags. There is a frequent bus service from the resort into other resorts. Trains also run and take you to resorts such as Valencia and Barcelona. Taxis are also available and are easy to get apart from in the early hours of the morning when the clubs close as they get busy.

Cambrils – long hot summers and mild winters

The resort of Cambrils offers heat that is a lot more bearable than the resorts further south. The average temperature is around 25°C making the summer perfect for swimming, sunbathing and trying out those water sports. August temperatures reach 28°C and you will have at least 10 hours of sunshine a day. The coastal winds are also present and this helps to maintain he heat and keep the humidity levels down. During May and June, the temperature is around 18°C, which is a comfortable temperature to be at. During the spring and autumn months, you may see some rain, however the showers are short. There is around 300 days of sunshine a year in Cambrils. The average winter temperature is 12°C. The temperatures rarely drop below 8°C in the winter and there is still 4-5 hours of sunshine a day.
