The picturesque resort of Benahavis in Malaga is one well suited to couples and families. Transfers to Benahavis take around 50 minutes, depending on which hotel you are staying in. Benahavis has an average temperature of around 22°C with the average water temperature being 18°C. During the summer months, the water temperature can reach up to 23°C making water sports perfect. If you want to avoid visiting in the hottest months then visit in May or June where temperatures are around 27°C. The highest summer temperature tends to be around 30°C. The coldest month is January, however temperatures still manage to reach 16°C. The sun is always out and when it does rain, it is cleared up very quickly.
