Benahavis - Located between Marbella, Estepona and Ronda

The picturesque resort of Benahavis in Malaga is one well suited to couples and families. Transfers to Benahavis take around 50 minutes, depending on which hotel you are staying in. This gives you plenty of time to take in the scenery and look around the resort to get an understanding of the location of the resort itself and your accommodation. The accommodation in Benahavis consists of mainly stylish hotels that still have an historical feel to them. The Spanish resort is four miles from the coast, however if you take a walk in the forest, you will see some amazing views.

Benahavis – plenty of new sights to see

Benahavis is home to an 11th century castle within walking distance, from which you can see some brilliant views of the coast. There are also plenty of activities that you can try such as hiking up the mountains, mountain biking, climbing and bird watching. Many people enjoy seeing the Zagaleta nature reserve. Golf enthusiasts will be happy to find a selection of fine golf courses. There is still a lot of history and culture in the resort with forested mountains, narrow lanes and antiques and art galleries.

Benahavis – plenty of places to eat and drink

Benahavis is home to over 20 first-class restaurants. You will find a lot of traditional Spanish food as well as a lot of seafood. You will also find other cuisines available such as Chinese, British, American and Italian. A trip to the stylish Puerto Banus is definitely worth it with a stylish nightlife of bars and clubs available. There are a few bars in Benahavis with music however there is nothing that goes on throughout the entire night. The Puerto Banus resort is great for tourists who enjoy shopping while abroad. You will find clothing, jewellery, crafts, electrical goods, shoes, bags, cosmetics and perfume. Public transport in the resort is okay, with buses taking you to and from other resorts. You will also find some metered taxis available.

Benahavis – beautiful sunny weather all year

Benahavis has an average temperature of around 22°C with the average water temperature being 18°C. During the summer months, the water temperature can reach up to 23°C making water sports perfect. If you want to avoid visiting in the hottest months then visit in May or June where temperatures are around 27°C. The highest summer temperature tends to be around 30°C. The coldest month is January, however temperatures still manage to reach 16°C. The sun is always out and when it does rain, it is cleared up very quickly.
