Portimao will appeal to many people who are seeking a busy holiday environment. It is not for those who like quiet beach resorts. Some areas of the resort can be quite steep so it is important to review the resort if you have walking difficulties. Golf lovers will also enjoy the resort. The transfer time for this resort from Faro airport is only around 30 minutes giving you just enough time to look around at surrounding scenery and get a slight understanding of the location of your resort and your accommodation within the resort.
