Olhos d\'Agua – plenty of beach activities throughout the day

Olhos d\'Agua has some brilliant beach activities for you to enjoy. These include water sports such as windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, water-skiing and jet-skiing. Beach volleyball is also occasionally held. Golf is a popular activity in Olhos d\'Agua with golf courses welcoming both beginners and advanced golfers. As well as this, there are also excursions that you can enjoy such as tours along the coast of Spain, a trip to Albufeira and the water park, a jeep safari or even trips to Lisbon for shopping and sightseeing.

Olhos d\'Agua has a few cuisines available such as Chinese, Portuguese, Indian, British, Italian and of course a lot of seafood. There are a few bars in the resort, however the nightlife is quiet compared to some of the other resorts. The larger hotels tend to put on some evening entertainment as well. If you want a more lively evening then head to the Strip in Praia da Oura where you will find clubs, bars and discos open until late. You will only really find a few souvenir shops in Olhos d\'Agua so a trip to Lisbon would probably be worthwhile.

The weather in the Olhos d\'Agua is what attracts to many people each year. The summers in the Olhos d\'Agua are long and dry with winters continuing to stay mild with limited rainfall. July and August are the hottest months in the Olhos d\'Agua with average temperatures reaching 30°C. You will also find up to 12 hours of sunshine a day meaning you have plenty of time to enjoy the day. The coastal breezes tend to keep the temperatures slightly lower to enable you to feel more comfortable in the heat. The spring and autumn is still warm with temperatures at 17-19°C. The coldest winter months are January and December although the temperature is till at around 15°C. There is also still around 6 hours of sunshine a day. From November to March is when most of the rainfall comes however on average there are only around 50 days of rainfall a year.
