The beaches in Egypt are very attractive and the clear waters make them even more appealing. One activity that you can enjoy while at the beach is scuba diving. There are a wide range of water sports available including taking a trip on a glass-bottom boat, sailing, windsurfing, snorkelling or taking a pedalo out. Hiring a jeep, a motorbike or riding a camel are just three of the ways in which you can be transported around on a safari. Horse-riding in Egypt is something for couples to enjoy, with a romantic ride through the desert. Camel rides can also be taken with a stop for dinner on the way. Sightseeing is something that everyone can do in Egypt, with many people take visits to the Pyramids and the Sun Temples.

Egypt – Hot Summers, Mild Winters
Egypt sees some of the hottest summers, with temperatures reaching 43°C during the day. The average temperatures for the summer months are around 30°C, however it is not unusual for temperatures to go above this. The average temperature for winter is around 14°C, however again, it is likely for temperatures to reach around 23°C. The summer months are May until August and in this time, you will see up to 12 hours of sunshine a day. During the winter months, you will still see around 7-8 hours of sunshine a day. Rainfall in Egypt is low meaning you are more likely to see sun when you holiday here. The beaches are perfect in the summer months as the cooling sea breeze helps keep the humidity levels down.
