Even in the coldest months of January and December, temperatures are above 20C, with around 5 hours of sunlight a day. If you are staying along the coast of Tenerife, then you will experience the best weather. Many people choose to take small jackets and jumpers for the evenings, but it is likely that you will not need it. The south of Tenerife sees better weather than the north, which is why more tourists tend to stay here. It is possible to see cloud at some time but the majority of the time will be blue skies and sunshine. Rainfall can occur in the winter months between November and March, but it is never too much.
