Santa Ursula - Close to Puerto de la Cruz

You can take a coach trip up the volcano and then take a cable car further up the mountain to experience some brilliant views. You are very near Puerto de la Cruz which is home to the Aqua park. This can be reached by bus and is very popular amongst both children and adults. A trip to the LoroParque is also recommended.

Santa Ursula does offer bus services into Puerto de la Cruz, where you can then get a bus to Playa de las Americas. There are some shops where you can by souvenir and clothing, however if you really want to shops, then taking a bus trip to Puerto de la Cruz is your best option. Santa Ursula – good weather majority of the year

Being in the north, Santa Ursula does not experience as good weather as the resorts in the south. In the winter months, more and more people are staying in the southern resorts for the better weather. During winter, it can be slightly colder and there is a higher risk of rain as the resort is located so close to Mount Teide. In the summer it is still very warm, however not as warm as other resorts. The temperatures remain at a comfortable high and the is a breeze to accompany this.
