Playa Paraiso - Purpose-built tourist resort

Playa Paraiso is located on the south west coast of Tenerife and is a very relaxing resort to stay in. There is not much going on in the resort itself, however it is close enough to the nightlife and action of Playa de las Americas. There is hardly a beach in Playa Paraiso and there is not much going on other than a few bars and restaurants.

Although Playa Paraiso lacks activities, it is only 10 minutes away from the liveliness of Playa de las Americas. You can enjoy the mini golf as well as water sports and bungee jumping whilst staying there. You can also catch the whale and dolphin watching boat trip where you are almost guaranteed to see whales. You can also take trips to the LoroParque in Puerto de las Cruz, the Aqua Park and Mount Teide. There are shops for you to look in selling clothing and souvenirs and all of your evening entertainment is likely to be based in your hotel.

Playa Paraiso – restaurants and bars to cater to your needs

Playa Paraiso may not have much, but there are a collection of restaurants and a fish and chip shop for you to choose from. There are various cuisines offered so that there is something for everyone and there are a few British pubs and other bars if you wanted quieter evenings. If you did want something more lively then head into Playa de las Americas where you can experience some very lively nightlife. This resort is perfect for couples and families because it is close enough to the lively resort or Playa de las Americas for the beaches, but far enough away to get a good nights sleep. There are 10 buses a day running from Playa Paraiso into Playa de las Americas where you can shop, eat, drink, sunbathe and swim in the sea.

Playa Paraiso – sunny weather in the south

Due to its location in the south west, Playa Paraiso has some of the best weather. The summer temperatures can reach 20C and the winter temperatures rarely drop below 15C. The water temperatures are high for the majority of the year and the little rainfall that there is tends to fall in the winter. The sun shines every single day of the year keeping temperatures up. There are cool breezes in the resort, especially along the coast, but this just keeps them heat bearable and makes you feel much more comfortable.
