Caleta de Fuste - Located on the Eastern coast of Fuerteventura

Caleta de Fuste is the perfect resort for families looking to spend some quality time together. The resort itself is very relaxing and offers amazing beaches for you to enjoy. The resort is only 10 minutes from the airport so you really do get to spend a lot of time at your resort. There is some degree of aircraft noise, but it is nothing over-bearing. The beaches in Caleta de Fuste are made up of fine golden sands and are perfect for topping up your tans. Many new beaches have been produced and are in ideal locations for you. They are located near accommodations and shopping centres so you can go at any time. The beaches do sometimes get busy, but if you get there early enough then you will find a comfortable spot. There are many low-rise apartments in Caleta de Fuste which offer various star ratings to suit all budgets. There are also many hotels which range from 2-4-star and are reasonable in price so that people on all budgets can stay in the resort. The resort goes by many names, including Costa Caleta, however they are both the same place.

Caleta de Fuste offers warm waters which is why water sports are so popular in the resort. You can try jet-skiing, windsurfing, paragliding, snorkelling and scuba diving. A submarine is on offer for you to try which goes 30 metres under water, allowing you to see all of the marine life. For activities away from the beach, you will find mini-golf, golf, tennis, bowling and mountain biking. The new shopping centre even holds a cinema, as well as the bowling alley making the resort very enjoyable for children. There are island tours from the resort and chances for you to get a ferry over to Lanzarote.

Caleta de Fuste – varied nightlife and entertainment

Caleta de Fuste does offer a varied nightlife, with live music and karaoke from many of the bars and a choice of international cuisines from the restaurants. You will also find a few quiet relaxing bars for people to enjoy within the resort. Most of the accommodation complexes offer entertainment in the evenings for both adults and children. There are many restaurants and cafés in the resort offering various types of cuisine such as, Chinese, Italian, Spanish and English. Seafood is also very popular within the resort and can be found in most restaurants. There are quite a few shops in Caleta de Fuste that offer jewellery, clothing and souvenirs. The shops are all reasonably priced, as are the restaurants and bars. The public transport in Caleta de Fuste is very reliable and offers daily service to Corralejo and Puerto del Rosario.

Caleta de Fuste – perfect beach holiday weather

Caleta de Fuste weather is very good all year round. The best months weather is July and August with temperatures reaching around 28°C. Water temperatures also remain high so the water sports can be carried out all year round. Winter temperatures rarely fall below 20°C and there is still enough sunshine for you to enjoy. There is not a lot of rainfall in Caleta de Fuste and even when it does rain, it is still very warm and dries up very quickly. The warm weather is also accompanied by a cool breeze to keep you comfortable in the heat.
