S'Illot - Located on the East coast of Majorca

S'Illot is a quiet, relaxing resort that would suit couples and families. The resort is very traditional and should you decide you wanted a lively evening, then you are close to the resort of Sa Coma. Your transfer time from the airport is around 1 and a half to 2 hours meaning you have plenty of time to take in your surroundings and get a feel for the resort. The beach in S'Illot is called Cala Moreya and is small, however it is clean and has beautiful golden sands and clear waters. There are many hotels and apartments in S\'Illot, which are mainly 3 and 4-star quality. The resort is very appealing and allows you to relax in a clean and quiet atmosphere.

S\'Illot – relaxing days spent by the sea

S\'Illot may be quiet but it does have some activities to keep you occupied during the day. The beach may be small, however you will still find plenty of water sports to try. These include windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving and sailing. If this isn\'t enough for you, then you can play tennis or even go horse-riding. There are a few local excursions that you could try, including visiting the Caves of Drach, or even the African Safari in nearby Cala Millor. The neighbouring resort of Sa Coma has many more activities for you to try including a visit to the Auto Safari Zoo. This is very appealing for children as they get to drive around on a mini train, seeing various different animals.

S\'Illot – relaxing, enjoyable meals by the sea

S\'Illot is home to various restaurants, offering various cuisines. You will find Spanish, Mediterranean, Indian, Chinese, Italian and English as well as some fast food restaurants. You will also find a lot of seafood on offer. There are a couple of bars in S\'Illot, however you will find many more bars in Sa Coma. You will find live music, karaoke and various different themes in many bars. There is one club in S\'Illot which offers various types of music and is open late. If one is not enough for you, then Cala Millor offers many more for you to try. There are a few shops in S\'Illot, however Sa Coma offers more. Many of the shops offer clothing and jewellery as well as some souvenirs for you to take home. The public transport in S\'Illot is good, although many of the buses travel from Sa Coma. The buses take you to other resorts such as Palma and Cala Millor so you can experience different areas on the island.

S\'Illot – enjoyable weather for an enjoyable holiday

Between May and October there is little rainfall making it the perfect destination for a summer holiday. During the winter months it is slightly colder with rainfall so jackets are advised. The summer temperatures are around 30C so sun worshippers are definitely going to love the resort. In winter, the temperature rarely drops below 10C, however there can be a breeze, which is welcomed in the summer, however slightly chilling in the winter. The water temperatures remain fairly high, so you can try water sports almost all year round. The summer time is the best time to go to S\'Illot, especially in the months of July and August.
