Figueretas - Small resort but very scenic

Figueretas is a small resort with a mixture of nationalities visiting there. There are many bars and restaurants for you to try out and lots of things for you to see. These include caricaturists and artists offering you the chance to have drawings done, or buy some of their other drawings. The beach is Figueretas is very relaxing and covered with golden sands. The water is a gorgeous blue and you will often find people making various figures in the sand.

The main activity that you can carry out in Figueretas is relaxing. There are plenty of spaces for you to go and eat and drink and Ibiza Town is only a 20 minute walk away. Nearby resorts such as Ibiza Town offer more water sports, although there is windsurfing and water skiing available and other resorts offer you tennis and the water park. Figueretas is definitely just for relaxing and the nearby resorts are for the livelier times. Playa den Bossa also offers bouncy castles and a mini golf course, as well as trampolines for the children to play on.

Figueretas - discount clothing and a moderate nightlife

There is a moderate nightlife in Figueretas with one English bar known as Moby Dick\'s open until 3am. Mississippi is very popular amongst younger people as it plays a lot of modern dance music and is open unitl 2am. There are also plenty of places to eat in Figueretas such as sea food, pasta dishes and chinese food. Boutique International is a store in Figueretas which offers brand names such as Diesel and Timberland at reduced prices. There are also candy shops for children, souvenir shops and perfume shops available. Car and motorbike hire is available as well as dancing lessons, martial arts lessons and a gym with a sauna for you to truly relax in.

The weather in Figueretas is just as good as it is in the rest of the island. Hot, dry, summer months and mild winters. It is the ideal location for families wanting to get away. The water is usually warm making it very comfortable to go and swim in. The sun shines on average for 12 hours a day in cloudless skies during the summer, although in the winter this can drop to just four hours. The winter in Figueretas is mild, but it is still advised to take warm clothing, as it can be quite cold in the evenings.
