Arenal d'en Castell Resort Guide

Arenal d'en Castell – located on the north coast of Menorca

Arenal d'en Castell is a fairly lively resort that is popular with families and couples. People with difficulties walking may not enjoy the resort as some areas are fairly steep. The transfer time from this resort from Menorca airport is around 30-40 minutes meaning you have time to look at scenery and get a slight understanding of the location of your resort and your accommodation within the resort. The beach is very attractive with golden sands leading down to the crystal clear water. The beach is very long with plenty of space for sun loungers and parasols. In the summer months, these go very quickly so it is a good idea to get there early if you want a lounger. The beaches all have warning flags so you know whether or not it is safe to swim as well. You will find a wide range of hotels and apartments in Arenal d\'en Castell that range from 2-4-stars. They give you all of the facilities that you need and are all from the budget to the mid price range.

Windsurfers in particular enjoy the resort as it does get very windy at times. As well as this, you will find water-skiing, jet-skiing, scuba diving, snorkelling, surfing and sailing. There are also pedalloes for you to take out. The capital of Menorca, Mahon, is only 20 minutes away and will give you the chance to shop, try other water sports or go sightseeing. If you enjoy golf, then a short walk to Son Parc will take you to the only golf course on the island.
