Malaga Airport is about 8 kilometers southwest of Malaga city. Ground transportation to and from the airport is by rental car, bus, taxi, train or Malaga Airport Transfers/private drivers.
 
Directions: To get to the airport from Malaga take the Av de Andalucia/A-357 and turn left onto the Ronda del Oeste/E-15, merge onto the Av de Velazquez/N-340 and follow the road to the airport.
 
Terminals: Work continues toward the completion of a third terminal. Terminal 2 is currently the site for most arriving and departing flights.
 
Parking: Malaga airport provides close to 3,000 parking spaces divided into three distinct parking areas.
 
Accommodation: The airport has no onsite accommodation, but there are more than fifty hotels in Malaga and many in the heart of the city.
 
Facilities: Facilities include shops, banking, a press/book store, cafeteria and ten baggage carousels in the arrivals hall. The check-in area for departures has two coffee shops and a cash-point machine. The departure hall is on the first floor of T-1. However, some EU flights leave from T-2, which is connected to T-1 by a walkway.
