Gran Canaria Airport is one of Spain’s busiest airports. It is in the Canary Islands and is a transfer site for tourists traveling to other Islands.
Directions: To get to the airport take the Autovia Les Palmes-Puerto Rico GC-l road and then the GC-191road.
Terminals: The arrival and departure halls are divided into Zone A for all EU flights, Zone B for other international flights and Zone C for inter-island flights. There are 86 check-in desks and 36 gates located throughout the three Zones within the terminal. Each Zone includes baggage claims for arrivals, and check in and security for departures. The arrivals hall is on the ground floor of the terminal and the departure area on the first floor includes a free VIP lounge for business class passengers.
Parking: Long and short term parking is available; there are seven payment machines on the upper level of Floor A and lower level of Floor C and machines accept Euro notes and coins. A manual machine for credit cards is on Floor A. There are 2111 spaces, including 38 spaces for disabled drivers.
