Collect your car from the airport and start enjoying the freedom straight away. Drive along the Atlantic road admiring everything from the coastal views to the artistic bridges, which allow you to skip from island to island, you will not be bored as you stop and enjoy the view points along the way.
For something a little more active drive to any one of the many ski resorts and spend the day going up and down the slopes until you're too tired to take anymore, and then simply head back to your hotel for a well-deserved rest. You could drive to TusenFryd amusement park and spend the day enjoying all the rides on offer or head to Tromso to experience the floating spa of Vulkana.
