The volcanic ash cloud from the Grimsvotn volcano in Iceland had reached Scotland causing disruption to many flights. The following are confirmed cancellations:
Easyjet have canceled all flight between Belfast International to both Glasgow and Edinburgh between 05.00 and 09.00 on Tuesday 24th May.
Easyjet have also cancelled flights between London Luton and Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Aberdeen operating between 05.00 and 09.30 on Tuesday 24th May.
Jet2.com have cancelled the 07.00 departure to Leeds Bradford and the 09.30 arrival from Leeds Bradford.
Flybe have cancelled the BE 6972 from Dundee to Belfast City and the BE 6972 from Belfast City to Dundee.
Flybe have also cancelled the BE 643 Leeds Bradford to Aberdeen flight.
Eastern Airways have cancelled the T34032 Cardiff to Aberdeen service and the T34095 Aberdeen to Cardiff service.
Eastern Airways have also cancelled the T34502 Leeds Bradford to Abedeen service.
The Glasgow – Isle of Man flights have been cancelled.
From Norwich airport hte T3722 service to Aberdeen and the T3723 from Aberdeen has been cancelled as well as the T3726 to Aberdeen and T3727 from Aberdeen. The BD 1310 and BD 1311 between Norwich and Aberdeen has also been cancelled.
KLM has cancelled flights from to and from Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle.
British Airways has cancelled flights between London and Scotland that would arrive in Scotland before 2pm or depart from Scotland before 2pm.
