An annual increase on passenger numbers of more than 20% has hugely pleased low-budget airline easyJet.

The new monthly statistics for March were released on April 7th and the total number of passengers to fly with the airline last month was 3,730,143 compared wth 3,094,588 at the same time the previous year.

GB Airways are included in this as easyJet took over in January.

GB Airways carried 212,394 passengers last month compared to 238, 115 in March last year.

More flights are now operating full with 88.4 of them full last month compared to 84.4 operating in full last year.

Overall, this is brilliant news for easyJet who are fast becoming more and more successful.
