EasyJet has opened a new base at Manchester Airport due to their takeover of GB Airways, who are now being totally rebranded and changed to the airlines ever recognisable orange colour.

EasyJet took over GB Airways in October for £103.5 million.

With the new base in Manchester, passengers can now fly with easyJet to destinations such as Malta, Malaga and Tenerife.

New services to be added include Manchester to Paphos in Cyprus, to Heraklion in Crete and a new route to Alicante.

It is a very proud moment for easyJet having their signature orange colours at Manchester airport. EasyJet are also hoping to open up more routes from Manchester in the not too distant future.

Since taking over GB Airways, easyJet have gained 32 destinations with 21 of them being brand new routes.
