Airline Jet2.com is adding flights from Manchester to new destinations in France and Italy for summer 2012.
The no-frills carrier will operate services to Paris and Toulouse in France as well as Bergamo (Milan) in Italy which will increase Jet2’s destinations from Manchester to 35 from next summer.
Ian Doubtfire, managing director of Jet2.com said: “The addition of Paris and Toulouse greatly enhances our city break offering – we now fly from Manchester to all of the key European cities, from Rome and Budapest to Barcelona and Paris.
“Bergamo gives people easy access to the beautiful Italian Lakes including the stunning Lake Garda.”
The Paris flights will operate four times a week and will start in March 2012 while the Toulouse service will be three times a week and Bergamo will operate weekly.
Andrew Harrison, managing director at Manchester Airport, said: “Since the arrival of Jet2 in 2005 it has shown continued growth and commitment to Manchester. Jet2 already has an extensive route network and these three new routes takes the number of destinations it serves to 35 which is great news for us and our passengers.”
