Seville - Located in the South-West of the Iberian Peninsula
Seville is a resort that attracts people of all ages. People who enjoy exploring history and culture will definitely like Seville. Seville is the capital of Andalucia so it is no surprise that there is so much history to explore. There are many hotels in Seville ranging from budget ones to expensive ones. There are also many apartments that come fully furnished with all of the facilities that you would need. There are many cars and taxis going through Seville, so it is important to keep your eyes open and look where you are going at all times.
Seville – plenty to occupy you during the day
There is a lot of sightseeing to be done in Seville and the way to do this is normally through city tours. There are plenty of walks to go on that take you into the Santa Cruz district, Alcazar palace or even the 15th century cathedral. Horse-drawn buggy rides are popular and are a great way of getting round Seville. There are also many museums that you can visit as well as boat trips along the river. The April fair happens for two weeks after Easter every year and you will see people dressing up, eating olives, dancing and watching bullfights and fiestas. There are plenty of excursions to go on such as trips to the Costa del Sol, Malaga, Cadiz and Granada.
Seville – many traditional Spanish restaurants
There are many traditional Spanish restaurants to try which offer fish and shellfish as well as many meat dishes. Fresh fruit is also available throughout the year. There are other cuisines on offer as well such as Chinese, Italian and British. There are a lot of bars in Seville as well as some discos, flamenco shows, theatres and cinemas. There are many shops in Seville offering everything such as clothing, jewellery, designer clothing, crafts, paintings, sculptures, leather goods, souvenirs and electrical goods. There are plenty of buses and taxis available in Seville. They take you in and around the resort for reasonable prices. There is also a high speed train that will take you to and from Madrid in 2 and a half hours.
Seville – hot summers and mild winters
During the summer, the weather is very hot. The warmest months tend to be July and August with average temperatures ranging between 19°C and 35°C. The winter is till pleasant, with sunny days, however there is a higher chance of rain. The coldest month in Seville is January with average temperatures of between 16°C and 6°C. Most of the rain falls in March, with December closely following.
